    Position Summary

    The Compliance Specialist I is responsible for auditing motor carrier contractor documentation and processes.

    To be successful in this role, you must display advanced communication and documentation skills regarding on-going auditing procedures as well as project managemant.

    Ultimately, this position will maintain and improve our company's image, ensuring that the people who contribute to our company's growth are compliant with our standards.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:


    • Review all the required documentation provided for the onboarding and maintenance of motor carrier contractors' compliance.
    • Follow up internally and externally when needed to ensure timely and seamless compliance with company polices and procedures
    • Respond to all communication regarding motor carrier compliance with current motor carrier contractors, local operation leadership, and corporate team members
    • Supporting other team members in projects to help develop, improve, and implement processes impacting the company
    • Provide documentation and identify accountability for incidents and occurrences that may impact the company to a degree of liability
    • Monitor and complete assigned audits of internal systems to ensure regular compliance across all locations
    • Assist in the completion of invoice reconciliation for applicable chargebacks to onboarded motor carrier contractors
    • Performing other duties as assigned
    Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)


    • Associates degree or 2 years experience in a Compliance or Auditor role required
    • Exceptional discretion, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with our senior management team
    • Attention to details
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment
    • Competent understanding of Compliance SOPs for onboarding and auditing processes
    • Competent level of organizational and communication skills
    • Competent project management skills
    • Competent in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
    • Basic understanding of USDOT FMCSA regulations and requirements
    • Basic understanding of Riverstone Contract Carrier Contract requirements
    • Basic understanding of 3PL Last Mile delivery industry and insurance market
    • Basic understanding of RLX employment policies
