    Job Description Summary
    The College of Liberal and Professional Studies (LPS) in the School of Arts and Sciences is looking for an enthusiastic Associate Director of Marketing Automation and Data with at least 5 years of experience working in higher education, a marketing agency or other related field, to join our collaborative marketing team. Under supervision of the Senior Director of Strategic Marketing & Outreach, the Associate Director of Marketing Automation and Data will be responsible for working with HubSpot (the department's marketing automation tool) and eventually Slate on the development of strategic workflows to assist with meeting enrollment goals. S/he will work closely with the enrollment management and marketing teams to create compelling lead nurturing campaigns that drive enrollment. Demonstrated experience with HubSpot and/or Slate required.

    The LPS marketing team is a dynamic, collaborative group of marketing and creative professionals, who tackle projects requiring independence, teamwork and relationship management. Each team member brings a unique area of expertise, as well as an understanding of how those skills overlap and integrate with those of other members, for creating unique and effective marketing campaigns.

    The Associate Director of Marketing and Automation and Data will be responsible for tracking the effectiveness of marketing and lead nurturing campaigns and providing data to the Senior Director of Strategic Marketing and Outreach and other stakeholders through infographics and other reporting tools as needed. A strong background in utilizing Google Analytics and other analysis tools required.

    S/he will supervise, coach, and mentor the Digital Marketing Coordinator ensuring that all marketing and enrollment goals are achieved and that marketing plans are fulfilled. She/he will also provide oversight of social media marketing efforts on behalf of LPS programs.

    In addition, the Associate Director of Marketing Automation and Data will need to be comfortable working collaboratively and independently, under tight deadlines and will balance multiple projects simultaneously. A great eye for detail and a passion for higher education are a must.

    Job Responsibilities
    • Oversight of HubSpot (the department's marketing automation tool) and eventually Slate on the development of strategic workflows to assist with meeting enrollment goals. Work closely with the enrollment management and marketing teams to create compelling lead nurturing campaigns that drive enrollment.
    • Track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide data to the Senior Director of Strategic Marketing and Outreach and other stakeholders as needed. Support the development and tracking of key performance indicators and the creation of reports and infographics.
    • Supervise, coach and mentor the Digital Marketing Coordinator ensuring that all marketing and enrollment goals are achieved and that marketing plans are fulfilled.
    • S/he will provide oversight of LPS social media efforts.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.


    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree and five to seven years of experience (working in higher education, a marketing agency or other related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate must have demonstrated advanced-level knowledge of HubSpot, Slate, or a similar system.
    • We are searching for a candidate with an analytical background who is comfortable with using Google Analytics and other data analysis tools.
    • S/he will have professional experience collaborating with others on the implementation of marketing and enrollment strategy and must be able to manage and prioritize multiple detail-oriented assignments simultaneously. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience with online education.
    • Evidence of continuing studies, coursework and active professional involvement is a plus.
