    Description


    Job purposeThe Sales Coordinator assists DSM's and Sales Manager in communicating with the retail network operations, to provide needed information on product changes, specifications, standards, pricing, and all matters concerning the sale, production, and transportation of products.

    Duties and responsibilitiesWork with retailers by telephone or email to provide information about products, price out homes (spec), process orders, and provide needed information.

    Return Calls and emails on all requests from retail network and customersKeep records of interactions with retail members and memorialize them in emails with the DSM to keep everyone informed of what has been requested and what has been accomplishedFollow up on any tasks that were requested and not completedEmail DSM's throughout the day to see if they need assistance on any tasksInform Sales Manager of any issues that arise which may require additional insight or involvement to reach a satisfactory conclusionSpend time in the building facility to learn the building process and the components usedAfter developing sufficient knowledge of plant operations, conduct factory tours of the Austin facilities to prospective customersRefer complaints of product or service issues to appropriate departmentsAssist in data entry and coordination of shipping process as neededCoordinate necessary communications to retail network and customers, at the direction of Sales Manager or General Manager, in all areas concerning plant operations and businessCommunicate with inter-plant departments relative to resolving issues and/or questions as they pertain to orders, sales, etcQualificationsHigh School diplomaMust be legally authorized to work in the United States1 year experience in a Customer Service or Sales environment, a plusExperience in a manufacturing environment, a plusBe able to read, write, and speak EnglishBilingual writing and speaking, a plusSome college preferredQualified candidate will need to pass a drug screen, a pre-employment physical and a background check.

    Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesApplicant should have working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook programs (AS400 experience, a plus)

    Effective time management skillsStrong attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a climate-protected environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-taskDesire to learn and apply new skills to assist othersCommunication Skills in individual and Group Settings, a plusAbility to identify problems and issues of varying complexities and to find effective solutions with few guidelinesWorking conditionsThe worker is subject to inside environmental conditions:

    Protection from weather conditions and from temperature changesMust wear protective equipment while in operations area of plantSales Coordinator will work mainly in an office environment, but will also spend time in the operations area of the plant and in the storage areas of the property.

    Physical requirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees as well as function safely around construction equipmentRequires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling and climbing to a significant degree
