Sharebite specializes in managing corporate food ordering for some of the most prestigious professional services firms, law firms, financial services firms, and tech companies across the United States. Sharebites technology platform gives these groups access to the best restaurants and caterers while enabling them to easily manage and track employee meal allocations, formulate expense codes, and pass meal costs to their clients. Additionally, our Post-COVID readiness initiatives such as Sharebite Stations and Passport are helping companies safely transition employees back to the office while providing incentive through company-sponsored meals utilizing Sharebite's technology.
Although based in New York City, where the majority of our customer base is located, Sharebite has expanded into Washington, DC, Chicago, the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, Austin, Houston, Boston, Charlotte, Nashville, and Greenwich, CT since late 2020, and continues to aggressively expand on all fronts as both enterprise-level and mid-market corporate clients look to Sharebite to assist in their post-COVID office transition.
In this sales leadership and training role, you will work closely with our Vice President of Sales to conduct trainings, continuing education, and the initial management of new hires on the supply (restaurant) side of our business. You will be hired alongside a class of Restaurant Account Executives (see job description ) and will be expected to participate in the same training AND spend a few weeks actively selling to restaurants so that you can learn the process.
We pride ourselves on our sales process, materials, scripts, and training program that are built on a foundation of proven psychology and sales methodology. As a sales trainer, you will be expected to continue refining what we have built while becoming the most well-versed member of the team in everything we teach. You must be excited by and passionate about helping to create ROCKSTAR sales reps.
A strong knowledge of B2B transactional sales (and the ability to quickly adapt to a new sales process) is of paramount importance in this role.
In 2022, we are growing our restaurant sales team by 6x and we will be looking to our management team to help with interviews and screenings as we go.
We care immensely about professional development and providing our employees with the tools for success. Therefore, training, education, support, scripts, and sales tools are provided to our Restaurant Account Executives and we expect you to become intimately familiar with the structure and processes we've created to help us sustain scalable growth. As with most startups, you must be prepared for, and excited by, a dynamic environment Your attention to detail, passion for working in a team of high-performing colleagues, and willingness to operate in an early-stage startup environment are important factors for success in this role.
Our strategy on the Restaurant Sales Team is very focused on signing up the "right" restaurants and caterers, not just "any and all". Therefore, success will be measured by how well you can motivate and coach your team to successfully schedule meetings with decision makers of top-tier restaurants & caterers and consistently close deals that results in appreciable profit to the business.
**Responsibilities:**
Train teams of up to 10 Restaurant Account Executives and manage them during their ramp-up period (about a month-and-a-half) - New training class every 2 months
Conduct continuing education for the entire sales team
Run reports and track progress using our CRM, Salesforce
Conduct 1-on-1's, Call Listenings, Call Recording Reviews, and ongoing Coaching and Training
Motivate and Inspire Account Executives to be successful and contribute to their professional development
Work directly with our Vice President of Sales to help scale the team
**Qualifications:**
Bachelors degree required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience working in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, prioritization and multitasking skills
Excellent at receiving and applying feedback as well as providing feedback
Strong coaching, training, and leadership ability with a track record of success
Above-average ability to understand numbers and comfortability with Excel/Google Sheets
Experience with Salesforce is a huge plus

Given COVID-19, all Sharebite employees are operating remotely. Relocation is not necessary for this role. However, company meetings and organized events are often scheduled based on the Eastern Time Zone.
