Description
Position Overview:
The Franklin County YouthBuild Program Director will be responsible for managing all aspects of the YouthBuild program, ensuring compliance with YouthBuild and Department of Labor (DOL) mandates, and driving program success.
This role demands a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management, youth development, grant management, and digital marketing.Responsibilities:
Program Management:
Implement comprehensive program procedures and strategies to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Ensure compliance with all YouthBuild and DOL mandates, along with federal, state, city, and other applicable regulations.
Oversee and coordinate all program activities, ensuring they align with program objectives and goals.
Recruitment and Enrollment:
Lead program recruitment and enrollment efforts, ensuring a diverse and inclusive group of participants.
Develop and implement outreach strategies to attract qualified participants.
Staff Management:
Collaborate with human resources to recruit, hire, and train program staff.
Provide strong leadership and supervision to staff, ensuring compliance with policies and alignment with program objectives.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment.
Community Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to support program goals.
Represent the program at community events, meetings, and other public engagements.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
Monitor program outcomes and performance measures to ensure program goals are met.
Collect and analyze data accurately to inform program improvements.
Oversee program evaluation efforts to ensure the program meets participants needs and achieves its goals.
Reporting and Compliance:
Prepare and submit required quarterly reports for funders and regulatory agencies.
Maintain comprehensive program records and generate reports as needed.
Digital Marketing and Communication:
Manage and update the programs website, ensuring it is current, informative, and engaging.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the program, including digital marketing, social media, and other online platforms.
Create and manage content for social media, newsletters, and other communication channels to increase program visibility and engagement.
Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree in business, education, social work, marketing, or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in program management or a related field, with a strong background in youth development programs.
Demonstrated experience working with young people from diverse backgrounds, preferably in vocational training programs.
In-depth knowledge of workforce development and education policy, including local, state, and federal regulations.
Proven experience in managing federal, state, city, and other grants.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to build and lead a staff.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, community partners, and stakeholders.
Experience in fundraising and development is preferred.
Strong website management, marketing, and social media skills.
Passion for youth development, education, and social justice.
Strong organizational skills, punctuality, and the ability to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
Must have a valid Drivers License.
Working Conditions:
The Program Director will work primarily in an office environment but will also be required to travel to various program sites, community events, and meetings.
The work schedule may include evening and weekend hours as needed to meet program goals.
Salary:
The salary for this position will depend on experience and qualifications, ranging from $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year.
