    Description
    Our Client is seeking a Tax Accountant for a Direct Hire/FTE position in San Mateo, CA. This position can be 100% Remote, Hybrid, or 100% Onsite. This position pays $80-135K annually.


    Responsibilities:
    Financial statement preparation, compilation, and review.
    Preparation of federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
    Preparation of tax projections.
    Assistance with IRS audit and tax notice response.

    Required Skills:
    3-10 years of experience in public accounting and tax return preparation.
    Active CPA license.
    Experience with Prosystem fx Tax and Quickbooks a plus.
    Strong interpersonal skills.
    Strong organizational and time management skills.
    Ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently.
    Ability to work accurately and quickly in a fast paced, high compliance environment.
    Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
    Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information.
    Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

    Pay for this position is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.


    A sign-on payment and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered by our client.
