    Description

    Role Overview:

    As a Senior Estimator, you'll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial construction projects. Drawing on your expertise and industry knowledge, you'll collaborate with our project teams to ensure that estimates align with project requirements and objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine project scope and requirements
    • Conduct thorough quantity takeoffs and cost analyses for labor, materials, and equipment
    • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals
    • Prepare comprehensive and detailed cost estimates using industry-standard software
    • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop cost-effective solutions
    • Present estimates to clients and participate in bid negotiations as needed
    • Stay current with industry trends, pricing, and market conditions

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
    • 5+ years of experience as an estimator in the commercial construction industry
    • Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Sage Estimating)
    • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes
    • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
