Your impact:
Coordinate with Chicago design team to develop and implement a successful strategic business plan to grow the practice.
Hiring and leading a diverse staff, including practice areas such as rail planning and design, rail crossings, railroad grade separations and rail and transit stations
Planning, directing, and coordinating activities for rail and transit design team members to ensure quality, budget and schedule goals are met.
Overseeing staff utilization and management practicesDeveloping and managing client relationships and business development efforts
Participate in marketing and project pursuit activities.
Assist with preparing scope and fee proposals and participating in presentations/interviews.
An engaging leader to help grow our Rail and Transit practice for the Chicago Design Office, which includes work with CTA, Metra, and numerous railroads.
Working with other Lochner leaders in the Midwest Region to expand our services, and provide outstanding products for our clients state-wideWho you are:
B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering
IL PE license is required, or ability to gain thru reciprocity.
Must have previously managed project teams.
Must have excellent skills in leadership, oral and written communications, planning and implementing teamwork, decision making, judgment and problem solving.
