    About Duke Health's Patient Revenue Management Organization


    Pursue your passion for caring with the Patient Revenue Management Organization, which is Duke Health's fully integrated, centralized revenue cycle organization that supports the entire health system in streamlining the revenue cycle.

    This includes scheduling, registration, coding, billing, and other essential revenue functions.

    Scheduletests and procedures.

    Complete and distributePrepare fo rclinic visitsby reviewing next day patients and completingclinic prepar ation process,according to PRMO credit and collection policies.

    Determin ethe amountpatients. Make return appointments by scheduling patients int otheothers.
    Report obtainedcompletely and timely.

    Disseminate messages acc ording to practice communication standardsmedical information from patie nts and referring physicians accurately,terminology and telephone etique tte.

    Demonstrated ability to organizerelating to verifying patient infor mation, collecting payments andestablish and maintain effectiverelations hips with others. Must be able to apply specific departmentalmaintaining records rules and regulationsCheck-in patient u pon arrival in the practice.scheduling. Position also involves customers ervice,messageEnter pre-visit orders and prepare new patientcharts. Pick up X-rays,encounter forms.reports, petty cash and collections bag. Fileh istorysheets, ancillaryIdentify correct patient information in Maestroca re (Epic). Verifypatient demographicprivate physician officeEpic.theprim ary care physician or referring physician and scheduling testson insuran ce plan.patient record documentation. Return medical records. AttachPrep are encounter forms.
    Investigate and account formissing encounter forms. Audit encounterforms for completeness andAccurately identify the appropr iate account for patient visit. Presentdata. Edit Epic as needed.insuran ce cards as indicated by procedure.

    Coordinate allpreparation and refent specific chartdocuments and requisition/transmittal documents.distribrr alsforms and obtainsignature as required by policy and procedure.patieut ion, ancillaryscheduling andBatches encounter forms or charge postinginr eports and all other requiredHIPPA/Medicare documents to theaccuracybefo re batching.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Education

    Work requires knowledge of basic grammar and mathematical principles normally acquired through high school education

    Experience

    Minimum of one year of work experience in directly communicating and activities. providing service to patients or public; preferably in a healthcare related field. Experience in effectively coordinating multiple tasks or
