    Position Summary

    The Production Control Tech I coordinates product flow post-machining through final inspection, collaborating with quality, accounting, manufacturing, and engineering teams to ensure seamless product movement within the organization. This role also involves communicating product status to customers and external vendors.

    Hours: 1st shift Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm

    Responsibilities:

    Essential Job Functions

    • Maintain production schedule and work orders for timely deliveries.
    • Print and monitor production orders, ensuring completion.
    • Provide customer service with delivery dates.
    • Monitor manufacturing backlog for on-time delivery.
    • Coordinate internal product movement and expedite orders externally.
    • Respond to internal customer requests.
    • Prepare and submit shipping lists to accounting.
    • Adhere to safety policies, including wearing personal protective equipment.
    • Support company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.
    • Follow work instructions and standard work.
    • Collaborate with sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance teams.
    • Understand customer needs and business markets served.
    • Ensure proper implementation and maintenance of business systems.
    • Participate in required company meetings.
    • Maintain an organized work area (5S).
    • Participate in the Operational Excellence Program.
    • Complete assigned work duties.
    • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
    Qualifications:

    Minimum Requirements, Education & Experience (incl. KSA's and certifications)

    • High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
    • Understanding of production requirements, processes, and materials.
    • Familiarity with scheduling and planning principles.
    • Basic understanding of inventory principles.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
    • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Organizational skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
    • Ability to prioritize and multitask.

    Desirable Criteria & Qualifications

    • Medical manufacturing experience
    • Experience working in a highly regulated industry (FDA, ISO)
