- This shift includes $2/hr differential
- Accurately retrieve, count, measure, prepare, package, and label medications.
- Operate and properly maintain pharmacy equipment related to job duties:
- Parata PASS500, PASS576, Parata Safe Loader, Parata Perl Inspector
- Assist in maintaining and managing supplies.
- Work each day to meet established deadlines for medication cycle delivery.
- Comply with all applicable government regulations, standards of practice, company policies, procedures, and patient protocols.
- Current unencumbered license in the state of practice: Certified Pharmacy Technician (certification not required for Illinois Pharmacy Technicians licensed before 2008).
- Experience in long-term care or hospital pharmacy preferred.
- General computer knowledge including Windows applications.
- Excellent math, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to work in a flexible schedule as 24/7/365 operational needs dictate, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
