Responsibilities:

Pharmacy technicians will work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist or physician. You will coordinate workflow with the nursing staff to meet the needs of our patients.
Proficient in sterile technique and infection control during IV compounding.
Maintain inventory of pharmaceuticals through automation.
Other nonclinical tasks would include "out date" inventory tracking, preparing and packaging compounded products for delivery, maintaining a sterile aseptic environment at all times.
Working with hazardous chemotherapy products in a "Chemogard" Hood.
Working with nonhazardous products in a laminar flow hood.
Excellent customer service skills
Phone skills to include a compassionate tone while interacting will all patients, care givers and team members.
Performs all other duties/responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

3 to 5 years as Pharmacy Technician
Organization: Able to provide order and structure to daily processes and work environment. Demonstrates good organizational skills and ability to prioritize daily work.
Problem Sensitivity: Effective in identifying and analyzing problems.
