  • Payable in two installments after 6 months and 12 months of work.

What you'll do as a Pharmacy Cycle Fill Technician

  • Accurately retrieve, count, measure, prepare, package, and label medications and nonsterile compounds.
  • Operate and properly maintain computerized packaging technology and/or use manual dispensing equipment and processes to accurately prepare cycle medications for residents of longterm care facilities.
  • Comply with all applicable government regulations, standards of practice, company policies, procedures, and patient protocols.
  • Assist in maintaining and managing inventory and supplies as they relate to work stations.
  • Assist in resolving facility/patient problems under emergency conditions.
  • Take part in quality improvement programs to meet company and accreditation standards.
    What we need
  • Current unencumbered license in the state of practice: Certified Pharmacy Technician (certification not required for Illinois Pharmacy Technicians licensed before 2008).
  • Experience in longterm care or hospital pharmacy preferred; 2 years' pharmacy experience required.
  • Excellent math, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Every other weekend and 3 holidays per year required.
