    Registered Nurse (RN) - Maternal Services - Post Partum Mother Baby, Day shift

    Job Description:

    The Maternal Newborn Service at Beverly Hospital offers comprehensive perinatal care in partnership with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, encompassing prenatal evaluations, labor and birth care, postpartum and newborn care, and specialized services for premature and high-needs infants.

    This role involves close collaboration across various departments to ensure high-quality care for mothers, newborns, and families.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct assessments and provide essential care for mothers and newborns
    • Administer medications and treatments
    • Monitor patient progress and evaluate therapies
    • Deliver evidence-based care addressing physical, developmental, emotional, and psychological needs
    • Collaborate with medical professionals to develop personalized healthcare plans
    • Support and educate patients and families, connecting them with community resources

    Qualifications:

    • Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
    • Active RN license in Massachusetts
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification required
    • Prior experience in Labor and Delivery (L&D) preferred
