- Become an expert in product offerings and value proposition to prospects
- Identify prospects, develop, manage, and grow recurring, profitable sales with accounts
- Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle
- Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives
- Developing quotes and proposals for prospective clients
- Learn and utilize IT systems and procedures
- Customer service, partnership development and customer retention
- Sales Tactics and Methods - Phone (inbound and cold calling), customer visits, Email, social media along and other electronic B2B communications
- Customer onboarding
- Travel to HQ for training & quarterly Sales/Company meetings.
- An innate hunger to research, identify and secure new business.
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience in transportation, distribution, warehouse, or general sales experience.
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office 365 as well as CRM knowledge and experience.
- Strong project management, organizational and time management skills.
- Critical thinker, and a problem solver.
- Ability to adjust and set priorities to meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and training skills
- Self-motivated with ability to drive projects, but also team-chemistry inclined.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of time; ability to work in a standard office environment; may be exposed to outdoor conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. and install products, which may require bending, stooping, knelling etc.
