    We have an opportunity for a FP&A Manager to join our team at our Golden Valley, MN location.

    In this role, the FP&A Manager will help lead the business through both short & long-term strategic financial planning & analysis by partnering with leaders across functions (including Technology, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Sourcing, Finance, and Legal), develop robust, dynamic, & scalable models that can be quickly adapted & updated based on strategic direction of the organization.

    This individual will also provide financial consulting and strategic support to leadership including preparing financial presentations, developing key reporting packages and analysis.


    You will:

    • Develop and monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance, including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, operating metrics, and capital expenditures
    • Ensure adherence to all generally accepted accounting and finance policies and procedures
    • Develop financial models and forecast for major actions including but not limited to Sales, COGS, Capex, Opex.
    • Develop financial reporting metrics and commentary for the Pool Segment and provide content to Board of Director presentations in partnership with Segment leadership
    • Planning/Forecasting - management of Segment financial planning, procedures, budgeting and forecasting, project specific financial analysis and general risk analysis; a significant emphasis on forward-looking planning and analysis that integrates input from the business units and/or functional leaders
    • Reporting and Analysis - responsible for the timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis, both written and oral, of financial and associated business information to internal users
    • Operating Partner - acting as an operating and strategic partner to the Segment Leadership team providing valuable strategic and financial analysis and input
    • Develop financial systems and tools (ERP, forecasting & BI/reporting) to increase effectiveness of Segment FP&A and the broader Pool Finance organization.
    • Drive the development and preparation of the Segment annual budget. Assist in setting annual budget targets, leading the Segment through the process

    Key Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree with Accounting or Finance major
    • 7-10 years' of progressive experience in Financial Planning, Operational Finance, Audit or Corporate Finance
    • Experience as a Manager of people
    • Thorough understanding of general accepted accounting principles and financial processes
    • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, with ability to complete necessary analytical reports and provide written commentary and interpretation
    • Ability to manage conflicting priorities
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
    • Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities under a tight deadline
    • Listens well, and solicits ideas to get optimal solutions
