    General Manager Position at Pratt Visual Solutions

    Pratt Visual Solutions is offering a fantastic opportunity for a General Manager who is ambitious and target-driven. This role involves overseeing the sales, operations, and customer service departments to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for setting company policies and objectives, as well as nurturing and expanding the sales team.

While prior sales experience is necessary, familiarity with printing and graphics is a bonus.     Pratt Visual Solutions forms part of the Vomela group, which is among the largest and rapidly growing marketing companies in North America. With over 20 establishments and 1,300+ employees, Vomela deploys cutting-edge technology to oversee corporate marketing initiatives, retail signage, store decorations, trade show programs, and transportation graphics.

    Responsibilities:

    • Plan and oversee production activities, prioritizing tasks to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
    • Lead in accordance with company standards, policies, safety regulations, and applicable laws.
    • Recruit, train, and manage the sales team.
    • Assist in setting and achieving sales targets.
    • Collaborate with the sales team for continuous training and feedback.
    • Analyze production quality reports to address deviations from standards.
    • Implement procedures to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
    • Establish production and quality control benchmarks with management.
    • Create budgets and cost controls for plant operations.
    • Address production schedule modifications in case of equipment issues.
    • Hire and evaluate plant management personnel performance.

    Requirements:

    • Preferably a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Communication, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years in B2B print sales with 2 years in sales management.
    • Demonstrated success in B2B sales, cold calling, and account management.
    • Experience in financial statement management.
    • Ability to multitask in a high-energy environment.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Driven, competitive, and results-oriented mindset.
    • Confidence, enthusiasm, persuasion skills, and ability to influence others.
