    Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accountant II is responsible for invoicing, cash receipt processing, journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, assist in financial statement preparation, support for annual audit and tax return and backup for Accounts Payable as needed.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not necessarily limited to:

    Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly invoices.
    Complete journal entries in an accurate and timely basis.
    Process daily cash deposit and reports from the bank portal.
    Record and maintain monthly prepaid schedules.
    Perform monthly account reconciliations including cash accounts, investment accounts, prepaid assets, fixed assets/depreciation, and other accounts as assigned.
    Assist in various types of audits (Accounting Annual audit, program audits).
    Serve as back-up to the functions of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
    Responsible in employee reimbursement process and maintenance of Expensify (reimbursement platform).
    Assist in review of accounts payable and cash receipts entries.
    Assist in system trainings (new user onboarding), updates, and troubleshooting.
    Assist in maintain vendor information and records - collect W-9's, and tracking vendors for 1099's.
    Assist in year-end 1099 filing.
    Other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
    Two to five years of accounting experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

    Skills & Experience:
    Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
    Account balancing and reconciling skills.
    Ensuring data quality and accuracy.
    Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control procedures.
    A proven team player, who is flexible, organized and details oriented.
    Demonstrated interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
    Working knowledge of financial software (NetSuite, Excel, Expensify, AvidXchange) to quantify and illustrate routine financial reports and statements.
    Ability to meet deadlines of month end & year end closing.
    Non-profit Accounting and Healthcare experience preferred.

    Range:
    $ 64, ,138.00/year
