    Job Description:

    • AV Technician

    Responsibilities:

    • Install, configure, and maintain audio visual equipment such as projectors, displays, speakers, microphones, cameras, and control systems.
    • Collaborate with engineers, network specialists, and other technical personnel to integrate audio visual solutions into telecom infrastructure.
    • Conduct site surveys to assess audio visual requirements and recommend appropriate equipment and setups.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues related to audio visual systems, including connectivity, hardware, and software problems.
    • Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of audio visual equipment.
    • Assist in the design and implementation of audio visual solutions for conference rooms, meeting spaces, and customer premises.
    • Provide technical support and training to end-users on the operation and functionality of audio visual systems.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field preferred.
    • Proven experience as an Audio Visual Technician, preferably in the telecom or IT industry.
    • Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting audio visual equipment and systems.
    • Strong knowledge of audio visual protocols and standards such as HDMI, DisplayPort, HDBaseT, and Dante.
    • Familiarity with networking principles and protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and QoS.
