    About the team + role

    As part of the compute team at Robinhood, we focus on designing and implementing a scalable and secure computing foundation. This team is fundamental to Robinhood's engineering, responsible for managing a scalable infrastructure, including system lifecycle management, clusters, nodes, and configurations governing all infrastructure components. We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead this dynamic team and elevate our computing infrastructure to new heights.

    What you'll do

    • Lead team execution, implement processes, manage risks, and allocate resources effectively
    • Lead architecture design sessions, guiding the team to make tradeoffs for risk and long-term maintainability of large-scale systems
    • Maintain a focus on software engineering craftsmanship, including testing, continuous integration, and deployment
    • Manage and develop a high-performing team of engineers, fostering collaboration and success
    • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to plan and execute infrastructure projects

    What you bring

    • Expertise in compute and infrastructure, specifically EC2, Kubernetes, scalability, security, and reliability
    • Proven experience in leading impactful infrastructure initiatives and mentoring junior engineers
