The Office of Practice, in the College of Nursing, is seeking applications for a Patient Care Specialist This position is located at the Johnson City Community Health Center.
The Patient Care Specialist works under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager performing clinical duties.
Work performed involves knowledge of the basic principles and practices of nursing, and a variety of tasks in an ambulatory health care setting including:

Rapid mobility may also be required on occasion. Physical expectations of an assigned clinical facility may vary and be subject to change.Stress levels may be high due to frequently dealing with numerous students, patients, family members, and other healthcare providers. This position demands concentration and the ability to work in emotionally charged situations.
