Summary
The Sales Coordinator assesses complex data systems and programs in support of ad-hoc and standing management or customer requests, including but not limited to, supporting Finance with timely and efficient processing of financial activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Under minimal supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:Assist Corporate Finance Department in reviewing ORS and checking CM% per line item.
Manage detailed inventory costing and cost accrual using ERP Quantum's Lot Module.Data management and input in ERP system (Quantum).Provide weekly forecast updates and conduct analysis reports from ERP to identify potential issues in executing order on time.
Review of ERP entries and managing timely corrections.ERP Quantum application for RMA return to vendor, customer claim, inventory scrapping after testing.
Recommend and test proposed solutions for process efficiency.
Coordinate quotation, sales orders and related activities to sales order flow process.
Coordinate shipment with freight forwarder, understand export compliance requirements for international shipments.
Manages sales orders, invoicing, and purchase orders.
Serves as a backup to Sales Account Representative including Order Review Sheet preparation, order related supplier communication, daily month-to-date sales and weekly/monthly bookings reporting.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
In addition to the above, Coordinators are to maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area using safety standards and expectations while adhering to all quality practices.
Education and/or Experience:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in Business Administration, or in related field or equivalent required.
Two (2) to five (5) + years of experience in aerospace and defense industry highly preferred.
Previous experience and knowledge in the space industry working on electronic components is highly desired.
Previous experience and knowledge with quality assurance is highly desired.
Knowledge and recent experiences must involve diverse and complex business relationships.
Bilingual in Japanese desired.

Must have excellent written and verbal skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, & percentages
Other Abilities:
Must have solid analytical skills and solution-driven thinking and able to use large amounts of data to make strategic decisions.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to stand 2 to 4 hours a day.
Must be able to work with their hands, arms and be extremely accurate. Must be able to walk and sit on a regular basis. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis.Customary physical demands for an office environment.
