    The Division of Medicaid, is currently seeking a Project Coordinator with experience in Medicaid or other health care industry work including government or private health care background.

    The position is located in Boise's Central Office. This position is required to work in-person at Boise's Central Office.

    The Project Coordinator position is an intermediate level position that supports the Bureau of Financial Operations within the Division of Medicaid.

    As Project Coordinator, you will assist in the research, development, analysis, and execution of various reimbursement projects for long-term institutional care, home and community-based services, and long-term support services providers.

    Projects consist of state plan amendments, cost surveys, supplemental payment programs, and reimbursement rate reviews. This position works directly with internal and external stakeholders via email, in-person and virtual meetings, and phone calls.

    Internal stakeholders include but are not limited to Division and Department program support staff as well as other state agency staff.

    External stakeholders include but are not limited to provider groups, provider associations, third-party contractors, other state Medicaid agency staff, and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services staff.

    Ideal candidates will have Medicare or Medicaid experience and government or audit/financial-based project management experience.

    Candidates must excel in working independently, have strong organizational skills, and be detail-oriented to manage multiple projects for multiple provider groups.

    Candidates will also work with third-party contractors and internal staff to develop memorandums, information releases/newsletter articles, budget recommendation write-ups, and coordinate reports, federal and state updates for policy changes, and updates to reimbursement methodology changes.
