Position Summary:
The
Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the operational systems of the main office.
The Director of School Operations reports to the Heads of School to ensure that each day runs in an orderly and effective manner.
They are responsible for implementing effective operational office systems while fulfilling duties that include enrollment, attendance, data management, supply inventory, home/school communications, calendar maintenance, facilities management etc.
This is a 12 month position that is supervised by the Head(s) of School.Core Responsibilities:

Team Leadership
- Lead and manage members of the operations team, providing clear direction, guidance, and mentorship to ensure the successful execution of operations projects and initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages continuous learning and professional growth.
- Conduct performance evaluations for team members
Management of Partnerships
- School Based Health Center: Work directly with school nursing program to deliver a highquality student health service program as outlined in contract and meet all compliance requirements
- Food Services: Serve as point of contact for on site food service program with regards to day to day services, food service reviews, compliance and conflict resolution
- Security: Serve as school day liaison with the security team, creating open lines of communication to ensure the safety and security of staff and students
Enrollment and Recruitment
- Oversee the student enrollment process, ensuring that it is efficient, transparent, and adheres to all regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with school leadership and central office to develop and implement enrollment strategies to meet target student populations.
- Manage the collection and maintenance of student records, including demographic data, enrollment forms, and transfer documentation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact to prospective students and families, conduct enrollment orientations, and assist with enrollment inquiries
Attendance
- ManageTier 1 attendance procedures
- Coordinate with ATIP (Attendance Truancy Intervention and Prevention) to facilitate school based attendance responsibilities and truancy communications.
- Oversee daily attendance tasks of Operations Coordinators
School Based Operations
- Ensure the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of school facilities.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair activities with the facilities team.
- Monitor the school's compliance with health and safety standards.
- Lead front office operations and respond to all situations with a customer service approach
- Oversee security and safety protocols including visitor procedures, emergency response, safety drills, and video surveillance
Finance
- Oversee and troubleshoot purchasing processes
- Manage relationships with vendors
- Supply and inventory management
- Field Trip logistics
Additional responsibilities:
- Serve as member of school leadership team
- Work cooperatively with other departments and Central Team in responding to schools' requests for operationalrelated needs.
- Represent as the daily face of the school, conducting self in accordance with core values
- Plan, support and/or facilitate school, family, and community events
- Oversee the distribution of student transpasses, as applicable.
