    Vice President-Business Development-Commercial Business Solutions

    Amplity has a current opportunity for a Business Development individual contributor role "VP of Commercial Client Engagement and Sales" in our Account Development Organization. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to own and drive Amplity Health's Commercial Solutions book of business. As an Account Development Vice President, you will be part of a collaborative team of executive sales professionals working together to grow Amplity's portfolio of Commercial business solutions.

    This role will lead all efforts with the leadership of the Head of Account Development to develop new sales opportunities, build effective and strategic account plans and work as a primary Vice President contact to the Commercial business.

    The "Vice President of Commercial Client Engagement and Sales" requires a strategic and result-driven professional who can identify and cultivate new accounts on behalf of the Commercial Business Solutions business of Amplity Health. As part of your role, you will identify and secure new business opportunities within your personal network of client accounts and work to identify and develop new clients to drive revenue growth.

    Responsibilities and Reporting

  • This role has a direct reporting relationship to the Head of Account Development and an indirect reporting line to Head of Commercial Solutions.
  • Advise, strategize, and build a quality pipeline of Commercial Solutions opportunities in a complex sales environment.
  • Secure qualified client meetings through established networks, relationships, and a value-added, consultative approach.
  • Lead the Commercial Leadership AD weekly alignment meeting along with Client Engagement Sr Executives and facilitate the discussion of Performance, Development and Execution.
  • Lead RFP, RFI and Capabilities presentations for Commercial alongside the Line leaders for the commercial business
  • Experience in the ability to validate the quality of potential clients and client leads for Operational fit, Financial Stability and Therapeutic Alignment to Strategy.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Amplity's core capabilities.
  • Lead selling strategy meetings with the business.
  • Collaborate with Amplity Commercial Solutions leaders, members of the Account Management team, and company subject matter experts.
  • Deliver sales messages aligned to Amplity's product offerings.
  • Systematically track your KPI's to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and make recommendations for investment, new offerings, and capabilities.
  • Education/ Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Demonstrable network of contacts and key decision makers within the pharmaceutical industry/ Commercial contacts required.
  • Proven experience and successful track record of selling Commercial Sales Solutions (teams based in field, hybrid or remote) being offered to Pharmaceutical, and Biotechnology Commercial Clients in the US Market required
  • Pharmaceutical industry, relevant healthcare knowledge and or Commercial sales leadership experience highly desirable
  • Experience in business development and account management required
  • Experience responding to RFPs needed
  • A minimum of 5+ years desired Account Management and/or Sales/Business Development experience with an outside vendor /agency selling Commercial services to Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Clients in the US Market.
  • Experience in CRM technology and other business analytical tools usage for client engagement required
  • Experience in navigating the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Clients in the US Market procurement process and MSA relationships.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office package including PowerPoint, Excel and digital meeting platforms required
  • Residence near a major airport
  • Ability to travel as needed required
  • East or Central US residents preferred but not required
