Commercial Ice machine Installer & Service Technician


Optimum Water Solutions is seeking a full time Commercial Ice Installer & Service Technician to be based out of our Orlando, FL office.

This position is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, service, and repair of commercial ice machines in business environments. Must be self-directed, detail oriented and possess EXCELLENT customer service skills.


CANDIDATE MUST BE:


  • Selfmotivated, able to complete given task with limited supervision.
  • Organized and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Able to communicate effectively with customers, managers, and fellow employees.
  • Able to travel.
  • Willing to lead, teach and train others.

RESPONSIBILITIES (GIVEN BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

  • Install, troubleshoot, diagnosis and repair commercial ice machines.
  • Inventory and maintain stock of parts and material needed to complete given task.
  • Be able to diagnose problems and gather a solution in a timely manner to assure our customers satisfaction.
  • Must have knowledge of refrigeration, basic electrical systems, and basic plumbing.
  • Must be able to replace mechanical and electrical components including motors, motor starters, switches, solenoids, pumps, and refrigeration valves and controls.
  • Maintain service vehicle.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Able to lift 80 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • At least two years' experience in commercial refrigeration, restaurant equipment, appliance repair or HVAC.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Pass Drug Screen and Background Check.

Pay:
$ $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
