- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop operating systems and application software.
- Performing system backups and data recovery operations.
- Maintaining inventory records of all hardware, software, and other IT equipment in the organization's network environment.
- Assisting in the setup of new user accounts and providing basic orientation to new users on the usage of computer systems and related software applications.
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of IT support tools, technologies, services, and procedures within the organization's network environment.
- Responding promptly to customer inquiries regarding computer system problems, printers or service requests through phone calls or assigned service tickets.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using ServiceNow tools.
- Management of RFMS (location inventory management system), controlling access, resetting passwords, running reports, etc.
- Management of OEE, LU, and various other operations reporting.
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Previous IT support experience preferred.

- Associate degree or higher in an IT-related field.
- Previous IT support experience 2 years or greater
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Proficient in IT operating systems, including Windows and macOS, as well as common collaborating tools and network topologies.
- Knowledge and experience in troubleshooting and supporting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Familiarity with system installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, software applications, and peripherals.
- Understanding of basic networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
- Experience in performing system upgrades, patches and updates.
- Basic knowledge of IT security best practices and the ability to assist in the administration and maintenance of security systems.
- Understanding of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) principles and practices is a plus.
- Ability to provide user support in accessing and utilizing various software applications and tools.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and the ability to document support requests and resolutions accurately.
- Knowledgeable about IT inventory management and maintaining an organized hardware and software inventory.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

Job Summary
Responsible for local IT support in the Branford, CT facility. Candidate selected for this position must have strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and delivery excellence. This is a part time position requiring 30 hours a week onsite support.
Basic Qualifications
This position works primarily at a desk but works requires working/supporting a manufacturing facility. Lifting to 35lbs may be required. This role may also require work outside of the traditional 8-5 workday when projects or systems upgrades require.
