    Preferred Qualifications
    • Associate degree or higher in an IT-related field.
    • Previous IT support experience 2 years or greater
    • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
    • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
    • Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
    Skills:
    • Proficient in IT operating systems, including Windows and macOS, as well as common collaborating tools and network topologies.
    • Knowledge and experience in troubleshooting and supporting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
    • Familiarity with system installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, software applications, and peripherals.
    • Understanding of basic networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
    • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
    • Experience in performing system upgrades, patches and updates.
    • Basic knowledge of IT security best practices and the ability to assist in the administration and maintenance of security systems.
    • Understanding of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) principles and practices is a plus.
    • Ability to provide user support in accessing and utilizing various software applications and tools.
    • Familiarity with ticketing systems and the ability to document support requests and resolutions accurately.
    • Knowledgeable about IT inventory management and maintaining an organized hardware and software inventory.

    Work Environment

    This position works primarily at a desk but works requires working/supporting a manufacturing facility. Lifting to 35lbs may be required. This role may also require work outside of the traditional 8-5 workday when projects or systems upgrades require.

    Compensation
    • This position offers a starting rate of pay between $28 and $35 an hour based on experience with a $1,000 sign-on bonus following the successful completion of 6 months of employment.
