    Description

    Responsible
    for managing the day-to-day operation of Parking and Ground Transportation. To
    maintain the safe, efficient, and orderly movement of commercial ground
    transportation operations, public parking, and employee parking at Orlando
    International Airport (OIA). Provide interpretation and enforcement guidance of
    Parking Operations revenue collection procedures and the administration of Notices
    of Violation (NOVs) to commercial ground transportation operators. Verify and
    maintain contractor compliance of operational obligations as contractually
    required. Assist the Manager, Airport Operations in the budgetary, and
    operational issues for the Parking and Ground Transportation division and
    propose amendments to the Ground Transportation Rules & Regulations (GTR&R)
    for presentation to the Ground Transportation Committee.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor
      degree in Business Administration, Airport/Airline Operations or related field
      and four (4) years experience in airport/airline operations, or an equivalent
      combination of education, training, and experience. Supervisor experience
      required; Ground Transportation and/or Parking Operations experience preferred.
    • Strong familiarity with
      airport/aviation operations and appropriate terminology.
    • Strong familiarity with ground
      transportation local, state, and federal applicable regulations.
    • Knowledge in parking and
      ground transportation revenue control systems hardware and software.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft
      Office software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint required. Oracle, lease
      management system.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong customer service skills required; multi-lingual skills desired.
    • Demonstrated supervisory
      & leadership skills.
    • Effective oral and written
      communication skills.
    • Strong analytical/diagnostic
      skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to
      plan, schedule, organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects.
    • Demonstrated interpersonal
      skills with the ability to maintain professionalism and diplomacy at all
      times and in potentially stressful, difficult and confrontational
      situations.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Must be able and willing to work both standard and non-standard work schedules, including weekends to accommodate airport operations.
    • Must be capable of properly operating field communication equipment and speaking clearly in English when operating such equipment.
