    Description

    Join Amazon's Security Compliance Engineering Tech group! Help architect and build Amazon's next generation of cloud services securely. Whether you're passionate about scalable systems or solving business problems, this is the place for you.

    The team is responsible for developing tools to evaluate and remediate third-party vendors Amazon interacts with, enabling the business to securely operate on AWS.

    We are seeking a Software Development Engineer to lead the vision for auditing and monitoring Amazon's resources in AWS, driving key engineering decisions affecting Amazon's software stack, and contributing to the next generation of AWS services.

    The ideal candidate will contribute across the software development lifecycle, possess strong communication skills, and work closely with a talented team of engineers.



    Key job responsibilities:
    • Work closely with a team of skilled software engineers
    • Design, develop, test, and maintain customer-facing applications
    • Utilize expertise in HTML5/Javascript/React and Java/Kotlin/Python
    • Explore new technologies and mentor junior team members

    Basic Qualifications:
    • 3+ years of professional software development experience
    • 2+ years of design or architecture experience
    • Experience with at least one programming language

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • 3+ years of software development lifecycle experience
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
