    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required.

    Join our dynamic pharmacy team in West Henrietta, NY, and play a pivotal role in our mission to provide exceptional care and service to our community. We are currently seeking a highly organized and dedicated Order Entry Pharmacy Technician to support our operations on the evening shift. This contract position has the potential to convert to a permanent role for the right candidate, offering a stable and rewarding career path in the field of pharmacy services.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Accurately and efficiently process prescription orders using our pharmacy management software.
    • Verify patient information and prescription details for accuracy.
    • Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure correct medication and dosage are dispensed.
    • Provide exceptional customer service by answering phone calls, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving issues.
    • Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
    • Assist with inventory management and ensure the pharmacy is well-stocked and organized.
    • Work closely with healthcare providers to clarify prescription orders and obtain necessary authorizations.

    Shift:

    • Monday - Friday:2:00pm - 10:00pm
    • Rotating weekends every third weekend:9:00am - 5:00pm

    Qualifications:

    • Pharmacy experience.
    • Prior order entry experience

    Pay:

    • Rate starting at $20/hour
