- Create and develop training materials for all Employment and Economic Services (EES) programs to ensure staff are equipped with comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations, agency policies, and operational procedures. Utilize various adult learning strategies and instructional design best practices to deliver effective training programs to new and seasoned EES employees.
- Enhance overall understanding of DCF policies and operations through employee training, aimed at improving professional skills and ensuring accurate implementation of Public Assistance programs. Monitor program performance, analyze data, and devise training solutions to address issues and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with EES Supervisors and Public Information (PI) Case Readers to identify training needs that promote case accuracy and align with corrective action plans. Evaluate casework to ensure adherence to established policies, identify process gaps, and recommend training interventions.
- Security Clearance: Successful candidates must undergo a comprehensive background check, including criminal history, welfare fraud records, driver's license validation, and Child/Adult Abuse and Neglect Central Registry screening. This clearance, which may involve fingerprinting and FBI verification, is mandatory for all positions at DCF and must be secured before employment and maintained throughout.
