Job Description Qualifications:
Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Associate and Experienced Quality Production Specialist (Level 2 & 3) to join 767 Quality team based in Everett, WA.The Quality Production Specialist develops and administers the quality system that ensures and manages the integrity of company products and services.
Individual will perform material review board approval and dispositioning responsibilities.In this role, candidate will be expected to:
collaborate and communicate with internal stakeholders, including program executives, track and manage investigations and complete Root Cause Corrective Actions
Position Responsibilities:
Reviews and validates product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements.
Performs analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes to Quality Management System requirements, applicable company procedures, contract requirements, or government regulations.
Applies knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems.Assesses impact or health of quality relative to the business system or value stream.
Interfaces with Company employees, suppliers, customers and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
Assures problem resolution or implements corrective/preventive action and documents resolution. Obtains corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware/processes.
Negotiates concurrence, obtains commitments for taking preventive and corrective action, prioritizes quality activities and ensures problem resolution.
Reviews and validates the corrective action plan and identifies effectivity to ensure completion.
Reviews and approves Quality planning changes or disposition of nonconformance hardware products/processes.
Develops and maintains software system processes and maintains software archives.
Performs audits to ensure media is stored and handled per engineering defined requirements.
Interprets industry standards and provide recommendations to engineering.
Creates formal analytical reports and coordinates with the responsible parties for internal and external distribution.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.1+ years of experience with conducting quality investigations, Root Cause analysis and implementation and verification of Corrective Actions in production environments.1+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS).1+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 3+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.1+ years of experience performing Material Review Board (MRB) product review.
Experience with systematic problem-solving skills.1+ years of experience in collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data.
Typical Education/Experience:
Associate (Level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).
Experienced (Level 3):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor + 1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).
