Job Description Qualifications:
Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring an Associate Quality Production Specialist (Level 2) to support the 777X Composite Wing Center (CWC) in Everett, Washington.
The investigator hired into this role will bring their knowledge and experience in working with quality systems, processes, and tools to identify and solve production issues.
We encourage detail-oriented candidates with systematic problem-solving skills to applyPosition Responsibilities:
Assists with review and validation of product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements.
Supports analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes.
Participates in the investigation to determine root cause of nonconformance of plans.
Applies basic knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems.
Gathers data and provides recommendations/solutions to nonconformance of plans, products or processes.Assists with the development, modification and documentation of actions to assure problem resolution or to implement corrective/preventive action.
Assists in obtaining corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware/processes and submits for review.
Supports concurrence and obtains commitments to support program resolution.
Participates and observes the validation associated with corrective action to assure nonconformance has been eliminated.
Verifies internal replication systems adhere to Company and regulatory standards and procedures.
Creates airplane specific airborne software packages.
Conducts audits to ensure media is stored and handled per engineering defined requirements.
Assists in the creation of reports and coordinates with the responsible parties for internal distribution.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location option. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or experience in a regulated industry.1+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS).1+ years of experience in collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):1+ years of experience writing non-conformance records.1+ years of experience in working defect reduction strategies within a cross-functional environment.
Experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications:
Word, Excel, & Outlook
Typical Education/Experience:
Acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).
