The Summer Program Receptionist is responsible for the daily operations of a school office, which includes, but not limited to: provide general information; direct phone calls; maintain and update student and staff records and other related office forms; and provide other clerical and general assistance to staff, students and parents as directed by the Student Activities Director. The Summer Program Receptionist also provides coverage for the nurse's office and assist with communicating with families regarding absences, illness, injury or other health needs. The Receptionist also administers minimal first-aid as required, in the absence of the nurse
The Summer Program Receptionist reports to the Student Activities Director.
Qualifications
This is a temporary and seasonal position consisting of 4 to 5 weeks of employment as outlined below. Hourly rate is $24.00. Current District 69 secretaries will be paid their school year hourly rate.
Work hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., including a 30 minute unpaid lunch (7.5 paid hours per day).
