- Complete at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (equal to 60 semester hours); or obtain an associate's degree (or higher); or meet a rigorous standard of quality and demonstrate, through a formal state or local academic assessment:
- Knowledge of and the ability to assist in, instructing reading, writing, and mathematics; or
- Knowledge of and the ability to assist in, instructing reading readiness, writing readiness, and mathematics readiness, as appropriate
- Experience in working with students in a school setting
- Experience with the SIOP Model
- Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English fluently and, at an academic level
- Submit to a criminal background check and be found without a record

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under the supervision of certified staff, perform a variety of instructional and clerical duties related to the English Language Development Program. The primary function of this position is to provide meaningful input for the students so that they will have successful grade-level experiences.
