- Work with students individually and in small groups.
- Supervise students before and after class/lunch.
- Keep students on task during instruction activities, maintaining consistency throughout the day.
- Assist teachers in implementing Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals and behavior plans such as: self-help skills, socialization, language development, toilet and hygiene training, and behavior management.
- Collaborate with the IEP team and use best practice interventions to assist students.
- Assist teacher in preparation and maintenance of classroom materials.
- Accompany students during time in the hallway and on the playground.
- Interact with students on an ongoing and consistent basis.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Keep records and data as required by the program.
- Perform other duties as requested by the building administrator or designee.

Special Education ASD Paraprofessional
Location:
Rogers Early Elementary School
Role and Responsibilities
Minimum of two years (60 credit hours) or Associate's degree from an accredited collegiate institution.
OR Pass a state approved paraprofessional assessment.
Experience working with special education students is preferred.
Work Schedule and Rate of Pay
7.25 hours/day, 40 weeks/year (follow student schedule)
Pay according to Collective Bargaining Agreement
Starting hourly rate $15.45
