- Develop comprehensive Commodity strategies aligned with stakeholders' goals and organizational objectives.
- Create or support robust Commodity strategies for all assigned areas, ensuring alignment with business needs, market trends, technological applications, processes, and benchmarking.
- Manage key stakeholders related to the assigned Commodity effectively.
- Implement a robust RFx strategic sourcing methodology and negotiate supplier agreements/contracts for goods and services.
- Solve complex problems crucial to organizational success, leveraging experience to negotiate the lowest total cost of ownership, best price, on-time delivery, lead times, customer satisfaction, and quality.
- Provide extensive data analysis from finance or business intelligence (BI) and market data.
- Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and partners.
- Lead the development of overall supply strategy for the assigned Commodity and/or categories, meeting stakeholder expectations.
- Identify opportunities for deploying new technologies to support Commodity processes.
- Analyze pricing and costs to benchmark best practices and pricing.
- Oversee the supplier assessment and qualification process.
- Offer category expertise to the global business.
- Lead Market Analysis.
- Collaborate effectively and professionally with individuals across various levels of the organization.
- Work both collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision.
- Manage Supplier Relationship Management for the top suppliers defined to be part of the program.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering (a Master's Degree is a plus).
- 5-10 years of experience working in a complex supply chain organization.
- 10 years of Procurement and Supply Chain experience.
- CPSM or CPM certification preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal skills, and teamwork.
- Ability to work effectively with internal and supplier personnel at all levels, including senior management.
