_Business Development Manager, Commercial and Industrial Sales_Smart Roofs Energy is a top-performing C&I Energy contractor.

We are seeking experienced, consulting sales professionals located in
Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Massachusetts in developing and closing commercial energy solutions throughout the country.
Qualified applicants must be able to bring projects with property owners and C-level professionals, provided both by our lead-generating teams and oneself, from initial contact to closing with our strong team support.
Responsibilities:
- Lead generation and pipeline development
- Consult on energy efficiency solutions for commercial prospects
- Work closely with all partners to present value propositions and feasibility studies
- Present solutions to decisionmakers and key stakeholders
Requirements:
- 5 Years Outside B2B sales experience
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong track record of achievement as evidenced by achievement awards, beating quota, building a new book of business, growing a market, etc
Market:
Our backyard (CT NY NJ and MA) has some of the most active project developments in commercial solar projects in the nation.
Smart Roofs has procured, designed, financed and installed commercial solar projects from 50kw (6,000 sqft rooftop) to over 1,500kw (9 acres of solar panels) with projects over 2,000kw currently under development.

In addition, we providecompany-generated appointments through our on-site and off-site call centers. Each consultant works directly with our sales and engineering team to help close projects quickly.
We have an
in-house engineering team to help design and support projects in real time. We also have an in-house marketing team to provide additional lead nurturing and lead development.
Compensation:
We provide advanced consulting fees (for each presentation) for developing our company's and self-generated leads into presentations. These are available on day one as you build your pipeline. Commissions generally range from $8,500 to $40,000 per closed project.
Pay:
$50, $400,000.00 per year
