- Work with service advisors, and technicians to build accurate price quotes
- Make every effort to locate needed parts when the dealership is out of stock
- Handle parts payment collection and make sure all parts are billed correctly through the service department or parts invoices
- Assist with daily inventory, receiving, stocking, and shipping
- Assist in maintaining perpetual inventories
- Refer to parts manuals (both hard copy and electronic format) to identify exactly the right part(s) for the make, model, and year of vehicles being serviced
- Help maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the parts counter, work area, and stockroom
- Receive and fill telephone orders for parts
- Assist customers, such as responding to customer complaints and updating them about back-ordered parts Qualifications:
- A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Previous parts advisor experience or automotive experience is a plus but not required
- Understand basic automotive components and systems
- Ability to complete tasks in a fast-paced work environment
- A positive attitude
- Working knowledge of computers
- Be at least eighteen years of age
- Possess a valid in-state driver's license with a motor vehicle report and an acceptable safe driving record Compensation: $45,000 - $65,000 DOE
