We are currently seeking a full-time Financial Accountant (m/f/d) to join our Finance department at our location in Schweinfurt, Bavaria.


Your role and responsibilities

  • Recording and processing of ongoing business transactions in accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, bank, and general ledger
  • Ensuring smooth payment transactions (incoming and outgoing payments)
  • Reconciliation of accounts receivable and accounts payable, as well as payroll accounts
  • Accounts receivable management / dunning process
  • Preparation and support in the execution of monthly/yearly financial statements according to German GAAP (HGB)
  • Preparation of monthly VAT returns and Intrastat reports
  • Collaboration with tax advisors and auditors
  • Participation in the development of processes and systems

Your profile

  • Completed commercial education
  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in financial accounting or a similar role
  • Indepth knowledge of German GAAP (HGB)
  • Structured and proactive working style
