- Dispatch work to technicians and assist in various ways to ensure efficient maximum workflow of the service department.
- Review appointment load needed with Service Advisors.
- Flag hours on completed repair orders.
- Review parts and authorization holds daily with Parts Personnel & Advisors.
- Review technician cause and corrections on repair orders.
- Assign Service Technicians to work orders based on technician skill set and geographic proximity to improve efficiencies.
- Relay accurate information to technicians.
- Manage the whereabouts and administrative needs of technicians in the field.
- Document the progress of each work order, manage work in process, and bill work orders based on customer and job specifications.
- Communicate service-related issues with Customer Service Representative and Management.
- Maintain professionalism and establish customer rapport, encouraging repeat business.
- Preferred dispatcher experience.
- Must be proficient with automotive dispatching software.
- Must be accustomed to a fast-paced high-volume work environment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Candidates are required to pass a background check.
- Great customer service and communication skills are necessary.
