    Description

    PrideStaff is seeking a process oriented Manufacturing Operations Manager for a MotorSports Manufacturing Company in Concord, NC. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the wiring, hosing and tubing departments. Our client manufactures products used in professional racing including road, oval, drag aircraft, desert, and marine. If you have an eye for detail and a strategic mindset along with an interest in the racing industry then this is the role for you.

    Location: Concord, NC 28207

    Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

    Salary: $100,000 -$120,000 annual

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, including production planning, scheduling, and execution.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
    • Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among the manufacturing team.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and resolve any issues or bottlenecks.
    • Manage and develop a team of manufacturing supervisors and operators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
    • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
    • Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet customer specifications and industry standards.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and increase overall efficiency.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
    • Prefer candidates with automotive training and an interest in motorsports
    • Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably in a similar industry.
    • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices. (six sigma)
    • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex situations and make data-driven decisions.
    • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present information to stakeholders.
    • Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving goals.
    • Proficient in using manufacturing software systems for production planning, scheduling, and data analysis.
