- Contractual Support: Assist with drafting, reviewing, and maintaining client, vendor, and partner contracts.
- Compliance Assistance: Support various compliance initiatives related to data privacy (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), security frameworks (SOC 2), and industry regulations.
- Vendor Management: Assist in onboarding and due diligence processes for new vendors (SaaS focus).
- Document Management: Meticulously maintain legal document repositories, ensuring organization and compliance with internal processes.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with various departments (sales, customer success, engineering, etc.) to provide timely support on legal and compliance matters.
- Education: Associate's degree preferred; relevant certifications in paralegal studies, compliance, or data security are a plus.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in a legal/compliance support role or similar.
- Tech Savviness: Familiarity with SaaS contracts and basic concepts of data privacy and security.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience or genuine interest in adtech/martech.
- A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Adaptable and excited to grow within a fast-paced startup environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Base Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000
