General Manager Restaurant Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant General Manager to join our team. This position will oversee all aspects of the restaurant's operations, manage staff, ensure customer satisfaction, and help to maximize profitability. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, be able to multitask and prioritize effectively, and understand the importance of customer service.

General Manager Restaurant Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and implement restaurant policies and procedures
Monitor the restaurant's performance and identify areas of improvement
Ensure the restaurant is aligned with safety and sanitation standards
Manage food and supplies orders
Manage staff scheduling, hiring, and training
Manage budget and ensure the restaurant is meeting financial goals
Resolve complaints to ensure customer satisfaction
Analyze customer feedback and implement changes to improve the service

General Manager Restaurant Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or related field
6+ years of experience in the restaurant industry preferred
Proven track record of successful management
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Knowledge of restaurant operations and procedures
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
