Job Description and Duties
Under the general direction of the Deputy Director, Institution Operations, the Regional Health Care Executive, CEA (Safety) develops, directs, and controls implementation and quality assurance of the health care delivery system at a subset of institutions within an assigned region.
The Regional Health Care Executive, CEA (Safety) provides structure and guidance for the health care programs delivered to patients incarcerated within the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) adult institutions; ensures that the provisions of health care services are in compliance with court mandates, State and Federal regulations, and are consistent with community standards, legal mandates, and the California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) and CDCR strategic goals.
THIS POSITION IS NON TENURED, FULL TIME, NOT PERMANENT, FULL TIME AS STATED UNDER THE POSITION DETAILS.Please note:

Candidates new to CCHCS are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to appointment followed by department annual TB testing/evaluation thereafter.
