    American Systems seeks an exceptionally well qualified DOD Senior Analyst (Programmatic) with demonstrated experience in Acquisitions, S&T, capabilities development, and programmatic oversight to join our growing team at the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD R&E) Joint Capability Technology Demonstration (JCTD) Office in Arlington, Virginia

    As a Senior Analyst (Programmatic) You Will


    Oversee a large portfolio of S&T projects as they transition from concepts to capabilitiesWork with a team of driven, supportive and highly skilled professionals.

    A week in the life of a Senior Analyst (Programmatic):


    Ensure adherence to cost, schedule, and performance metrics Maintain cognizance of programmatic, technological, and technology transfer risk Oversee project reviews; attend major portfolio events Train and mentor a large staff of SETA contract support Continually evaluate processes to improve speed and qualityReview status of all projects (cost, schedule, performance, and where each is in its developmental lifecycle)Identify potential issues and determine pathway to assess (such as conducting a program review) and correct (such as increase testing and evaluation events to better assess status of technology maturity)Assess proposed projects technical documentation, funding documents, memorandum of agreements, reports, briefs, etc.)

    Attend stakeholder engagements for the portfolio or for specific projectsConduct deep dives on 2-3 projects to maintain currency with status and risk

    Job Requirements

    Active TS/SCIBachelor's Degree in engineering, scientific, technical, management, or related discipline.10 years of experience in a DoD environment
