- Supervise and actively participate in all phases of training from conceptualization through completion, including planning, developing and delivering technical training to ensure quality and business objectives are attained.
- Identify program training requirements and coordinate the development of appropriate curriculum, training processes, delivery methods, and protocols to meet business needs.
- Develop criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
- Supervise and actively participate in the preparation of training programs, including outlines, text, handouts, tests, and may design laboratory exercises.
- Monitor training programs to ensure functional training objectives are met within cost and performance standards.
- May administer written and practical exams and write performance reports to evaluate trainees' performance.
- Collaborate with technical staff and/or management to develop and implement current, annual, and long-term training objectives.
- May act as the primary contact for technical training activities with both internal and external representatives.
- Identify training program issues and provide leadership in recommending solutions such as re-allocation of resources or modifying training specifications.
- Ensure organizational leadership and excellence is maintained by participating in the planning, attraction, selection, retention, and development of the required professional talent.
- Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Responsible for ensuring all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
- Responsible for ensuring work is accomplished in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
- Participate in new hire orientation and interviews.
- Maintain qualifications, develop courseware, and deliver training sessions as needed.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
- Typically requires a Bachelors degree in a related technical field and nine or more years of progressive professional experience in training processes and procedures, planning, scheduling, and budget management with at least three of those years leading processes and/or personnel. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
- Must demonstrate a strong technical understanding of aircraft principles and practices.
- Must have proven project management and leadership skills, including organizing, planning, scheduling, and coordinating workloads to meet established deadlines or milestones.
- Must have the ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret data and develop innovative solutions to a variety of complex problems and strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings to a variety of audiences.
- May be required to represent the company on external projects, work extended hours, and travel as needed.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance is required.

We are looking for a Technical Training Supervisor to join our Training Team in Palmdale, CA.This position is responsible providing leadership and actively participating in the planning, development, and implementation of technical product training programs for customers, employees, and/or field support personnel.
This position also obtains information from customer and technical organizations, engineering, software, and product requirements to develop training programs.Provides direction on the preparation of lesson plans and training materials, the design of product demonstrations, and the development of course content.
Participates in determining training methodology and coordinates the development of training aids.Supervises and participates in the delivery of training sessions, product demonstrations, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.
May utilize trainers with specialized technical expertise.Coordinates continuous revision of lesson plans to ensure course material reflects product features, meets new training requirements, and includes most current technical information.
