Quality Engineer PMOUNTJP

A leading digital streaming network is seeking a Quality Engineer.

The successful candidate will work with developers, product managers, QA team members, and operations team members to ensure deliverables are timely and meet expectations.

The ideal candidate has the ability to test at the REST API level using various tools like Postman and CharlesProxy, to ensure the correct API requests and responses are made for each endpoint under test for the companies streaming applications.

Quality Engineer Pay And Benefits

Hourly pay:
$65/hr

Worksite:
Leading digital streaming network (Remote, Candidates must be located in the United States, Must work Pacific Office Hours)
W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program
40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment

Quality Engineer Responsibilities

Create test plans, and test cases, execute test cases, and report test results.
Test UI application meets the product requirements.
Using various REST API Testing tools like Postman or CharlesProxy, you will construct and test.
REST API endpoints to test Web Services deployed in Test and Production-like environments.
Ensure all REST API CRUD operations work as desired.
Regression Test REST APIs for Release Candidates using Pre-built Suites of Tests.
Attend Agile Planning Sessions for both REST API and Backend Services Teams.
Work with the automation team and look for opportunities to automate test cases.

Quality Engineer Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Software testing in an Agile environment.
BA/BS in computer science or related technical field.
Experience in UI functionality testing across browsers.
Experience in REST API and Web Services Testing.
Experience using REST API Tools like Postman, Swagger, or CharlesProxy
Experience in tools GIT, Git actions, CI/CD, Jenkins
Experience in Linux, AWS/GCP , Docker, and Kubernetes.
Experience in video streaming technologies and applications desired.
Automation using Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Restuassured, TDD/BDD
Outstanding communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with both a technical and non-technical audience
Strong understanding of databases, SQl, and NoSQL desired.

Quality Engineer Shift

9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific office hours.
