    The Role
    Palantir Quality Engineers work on cross-functional development teams to ensure a successful, high-quality product release. We are looking for highly motivated and detail-oriented engineers to fill this role.

    As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for creating end-to-end test plans based both on expected uses and functional requirements; validating functionality; finding, filing, verifying, and debugging issues; and providing extensive input on the software development process, with a particular focus on the user perspective.

    Quality Engineers work with Product Designers, Software Engineers, and Forward Deployed Engineers at each stage of development and deployment to ensure a consistent, intuitive, and functional user experience.

    Core Responsibilities


    Embed with a 3-10 person development team working on a specific product component and maintain a high standard for quality throughout the development cycle.

    Work with front-line deployed engineers and users at customer sites to thoroughly understand customer workflows.
    Connect customer requirements with technical realities by working with both the product and business side of the company.
    Design testing to assess the functionality, usability, and performance of Palantir's platforms.
    Ensure customer workflow requirements are met while maximizing usability.

    Create test plans to push the main workflow and edge functionality of the product as far as it can go.

    Responsible for the end-to-end quality of a product component.
    What We Value

    BS in Engineering/CS, Information Systems, Math, hard sciences, or equivalent experience.
    Experience testing software, writing workflows, and/or automation for front-end software applications.
    Excellent analytical thinking skills and attention to detail.
    Ability to work in a dynamic environment with a rapid turnaround in meeting objectives.
    Firm grasp of front end testing methodologies, along with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
    Willingness and interest to travel and work closely with our users in secure facilities.
